What to do if the imported API has expired?

  1. Generate a new API by following the instructions on the Import page.

  2. Click three dots and select ‘Update’.

  3. Copy and paste the new key.

  4. Click ‘Update’.

  5. After syncing successfully, you should see the below data on the Transactions page:

    1. The existing data was imported via the old API until the date it stopped working.

    2. The newly imported data via the new API is from the date the old API stopped syncing.

Q: What if I want to delete old data and import a new API that has better data?

This happens sometimes because the exchanges updated their API. You can create a new free account and test the API first before doing anything on your original account. If you decide to reimport your old data and review them again, you should 'delete' the old API key instead of 'update', and add your new API key to your original account.

Q: What happens if I hard sync my updated API key?

Hard-syncing the updated API only hard-sync the data from the new starting date of the updated API. It does not trace back the data beforehand. If you want to sync the data from the very beginning of the transaction history, delete the old and new API keys and add the update API key as a new API key.
